Home > HSE : Ladder Exchange Initiative 2011
The Health and Safety Executive’s Ladder Exchange is up and running to help remove more dodgy ladders from Britain’s workplaces.
According to the HSE, to date, over 8,000 dodgy ladders have been removed from the workplace. If you have a ladder which is broken, damaged or bent, you can part-exchange it for a safe new one at any of the HSE’s partner companies.
This year the initiative runs through to 30th November 2011.
Visit the HSE website to find out how you can get involved and for details of participating retail partners.
The HSE website also provides useful and specific guidance for employers and workers on complying with the law and working safely at height.
If you’ve had an accident at work, call our team free on 0800 2800 094, request a free callback or complete our online form.
